The Position
The Solutions Engineer plays a hands-on role within the Solutions Engineering team, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. This role bridges Sales, Product, Implementation, and Support to ensure Connect customer use cases are accurately scoped, technically validated, and successfully implemented.
Solutions Engineers serve as technical leads for assigned opportunities and implementations—owning data integrations, workflow automation, and warehouse connectivity. They work directly with clients and internal teams to design, configure, and deliver scalable solutions that meet customer specifications. Each Solutions Engineer will oversee multiple active projects and contribute to developing reusable frameworks and processes as the function scales.
Pre-Sales & Solution Design
Partner with Sales to identify customer-specific use cases and technical requirements.
Lead product demonstrations for prospective customers, talking through how Foureyes Connect can help solve their problems
Participate in discovery sessions to assess system environments and data sources.
Document technical architectures and workflows as needed to define unique customer data architectures relevant to Connect.
Support preparation of technical documentation and draft Statements of Work (SOWs).
Implementation, Data Integration & Warehousing
Serve as the technical owner for customer onboarding, responsible for successful delivery of integrations and automations including CRM, DMS, data warehouse, and automated flow design, and others.
Build or oversee execution of Connect functionality and ensure build out meets customer use cases.
Oversee design of workflow automations using N8N or similar technologies.
Ensure accurate and timely setup of data pipelines, mapping, and warehouse connectivity.
Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to validate data ingestion, schema alignment, and warehouse flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during onboarding and maintain proper documentation of integration details.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Sales to ensure accurate technical scope and expectations are set during the sales process.
Partner with Product and Customer Success to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and meet customer goals.
Communicate technical feedback and customer insights to the Product and Engineering teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Connect’s data integration and warehousing framework by providing customer and personal feedback.
Documentation, Enablement & Team Leadership
Maintain detailed notes on customer use cases and tech stack during the sales process.
Own technical documentation, playbooks, and reusable templates for flows and use cases.
Train Customer Success and Support on customer use cases and data flow structure.
Support the Director in defining and tracking team KPIs and technical standards.
2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
Experience with SaaS data integration, APIs, workflow automation (N8N, Zapier, Make), and cloud data warehousing.
Strong understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and customer data systems (CRM, DMS, website, inventory).
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and client communication skills.
Location: This is a remote position. We are hiring in the following states: OR, WA, CA, FL, ID, IN, IA, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NV, NJ, OH, PA, TN, TX, AZ, IL, CO, MI and NH.
Travel: 25% travel in the field, including overnight travel
Compensation Range: $85,000 -$130,000 OTE (base + performance pay)
