As the Manager of Product Management, you will lead a team of product managers focused on building out our products to deliver continually more value to our customers. Your role is focused on enabling the team to deliver successful product outcomes through management and mentorship, process evolution, and introduction of new areas of practice. The MPM will be a player/coach, overseeing the team while also playing the role of product manager for one of our product modules. As the team grows, this role will evolve to focus solely on team management.
Management, Mentorship, and Enablement
Create clear pathways for growth and work with product managers to set and achieve goals
Support and coach the members of your team. Help them evolve their skills to level up
Drive and enable a culture of continuous learning and curiosity
Scale and evolve the product management function
Understand where the team is, identify gaps, propose solutions
Advocate for team needs and ensure the team is set up to succeed
Ensure alignment across the team
Hire and onboard new employees
Defining our product management methodologies, practices, and processes aimed at enabling the team to deliver quality work, removing obstacles, and driving outcomes.
Evolving and iterating on those methodologies and processes as it makes sense to improve the team’s performance and ensure seamless delivery of work.
In partnership with other leaders on the team, this includes proposing methods for communicating the product roadmap and showcasing what the product team is working on.
Foster Cross Team Collaboration
Create effective partnership within the broader product organization of engineering, customer experience, and product design aimed at seamless delivery of valuable product features.
Build partnerships and touchpoints with other teams (such as customer success, product support, frontline sales) to ensure we’re collaborating and communicating effectively.
Work across the company to ensure functions are aligned.
In addition to your role as the manager, you will also be responsible for some degree of product management while we grow and the scale the team.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent job experience required
5+ years in product management (preferably at a SaaS company) and 3+ years managing people
Experience evolving and growing a team to meet the needs of the company
Experience successfully launching new software product(s) as well as working within existing product lines
Experience leading or facilitating roadmap development leveraging prioritization frameworks
